Dramatic traffic increase with Wordpress plugin

As I wrote in a previous post, I wanted to try out if here was any effect by installing Ansungmans Translator plugin, and I started on the 1st of January 2008 (or roughly thereabouts). I wrote the initial post here: http://tutorialvine.com/wordpress-plugin-test-angsumans-translator-plugin and the effect so far as been not anything small of stellar.

I have done not anything else to that site, but as the stats picture here from Google Analytics will show, it has been a dramatic increase:

The persona might not give it the respect it deserves, but January 1st resulted in 75 visitors, January 25th gave 1082 visitors. That is a very dramatic increase!

The stats persona below also shows how many visits have been from search bots and how many have been from real visitors:

That is quite incredible.

Obviously, my Adsense earnings have increased as well, and that is now the only method of monetization I have on that blog. I have goofed around with a few affiliate tests, but they have yielded absolutely not anything, so Adsense is now the only form of advertising I have running.

I have also noticed this. I have a translator plug in and have traded links with two french language blogs. The plug in really opens up the possibilities!

That truly is impressive, I wasn’t even aware that such a plugin existed. Do the Adsense ads that appear in the non-English versions of the pages appear in the assess language? It would make sense that they would but I’ve never dealt with anything but English for Adsense.

That’s fascinating. I am going to try the plugin in my website and see if here’s any increase in my traffic :)

Thanks for sharing

Will: The ads are usually shown based on where you come from (Google script detects that), but if that falls small (it doesnt know where you are from) it might show ads based on the language it detects, or might show a blank space (pending on the setup of the Adsense check).

vkeong: Best of luck, hope it works. I get a small traffic here on this blog, based on that plugin, but the plugin by Ansumans does seem to be worth it so far.

That’s more than a thousand in a month?! I’ll give it a try aptly now.

BaseGuradian: Give it a try, I have been VERY lucky with it so far.

I have done other optimization and some linkbuilding as well since then, so I cannot give the plugin full credit, but it is about 2000 now :-)
