Free Web 2.0 Ribbon Generator

Posted by: admin In: Uncategorized

A new cool ribbon generator has been recently launched, QuickRibbon, which is a really quick way for you to generate nifty Web 2.0 ribbons. See top right site of this blog for an example.

It is really easy to change the text, font, colors and style of the ribbon, and the code which is generated is simply a copy-paste into the code of your site.

From the site itself:

QuickRibbon is a completely free Web2.0 tool, a website ribbon generator which lets you create a custom ribbon, insert a link in it and place it in the top right corner of your website. It will take you less than 5 minutes to generate your own website ribbon with this trendy widget and add a stylish Web2.0 look to your page ‚Äì it’s quick, easy and fun. We recommend using our QuickRibbon tool to attract your site’s visitors attention to new features, announcements, sales, etc. Get rid of the boring banners and make your news stand out with a style.

I have used it here on this site to advertise a recently started blog, and I am curious to see the effect of it. It certainly stands more out than ordinary banners and inline advertising. Might this be a new way of advertising instead?

You can read more about this topic at pelidnoma, or by reading other entries on this website.
