rssHugger brings linklove
Posted by: admin In: Uncategorized
I a seemingly never-ending list of new sites that promises to bring traffic, rssHugger helps bloggers promote their posts to an increasing range of visitors.

So far 342 feeds have signed up, and more are following.
Initially, rssHuggers business model was to get bloggers to pay for a 10 year ownership of a page on rssHugger for only $20, but by writing a review of the site, the price trickled down to $10.
A review on John Chow’s blog changed this, and now you can get your page for the small price of writing a little review like this.
John Chow had a valid point when he writes that the price is too high when you are an early-adopter,
$10 was low enough for me to pay for the listing but the main reason I bought it was research for this review. Were it not for that, I doubt I would have paid for it. The site doesn’t have enough members or traffic to justify the price no matter how low it is.
To be honest, I doubt it is worth even $10 initially, but if rssHugger gets the success its owner, Collin LaHay, anticipates (50.000 blogs) it might very well be worth it.
People have called rssHugger the “Technorati without the spam”, and if rssHugger succeeds in keeping up the quality, it might very well succeed.
Here’s hoping to Collin that it does.
