stylishwebdesign.us is a company that offers custom design and programming. They mostly seem to get all their work remotely, and have so far produced a few nice designs.

Their own homepage is well designed, although I noticed a few errors here and there while going through the content of their site.
Their portfolio page displays a latin text in the top “Phasellus porta. Fusce suscipit varius mi. Cum sociis natoque pena- tibus et magnis dis parturient montascetur ridiculus mus dui. Fuscee feugiat malesuada odio. Morbi nunc odio, gravidaa” and has a bit of an error when I viewed that page in Firefox on my Macbook Pro. See below screenshot

Normally I would just notice this, and not be that focused on the error, but when being asked to review the design of a homepage, I had anticipated a well-worked through layout, at least a checked through design, and that the latin dummy text had been removed. Or is it me who should learn latin?
A few things seem to be missing as well. I could locate no detailed information about the company, such as size, and specifically location. For me that it important when hiring freelancers, that I have a better knowledge of who and where they are.The .us-domain should be a hint, but I have not read up on the requirements for purchasing a .us-domain.
On a side note, I would recommend them checking their site through a spell-checker as well when fixing above errors/bugs. “ammount” should be spelled “amount”, and there were a few others like that. Maybe checking the links on each and every page would be a good idea as well, I found a link to http://www.articles.stylishwebdesign.us/ on the front page (see bottom right corner on the front page under “Quick Access”
The Design directory contains at this moment just a few links to other sites, but I am sure that is subject to change very quickly. The layout is among the nicest I have seen in the directories I’ve seen around.
Go check out their homepage, and consider dropping them a mail. I am thinking about contacting them for a project I have in mind, I would be curious to see a quote from them.
