WordPress Translator plugin test - preliminary results

Posted by: admin In: Uncategorized

As I reported earlier, I have started a test on a site of mine, www.photoshoptutorials.dk, with a new multilanguage plugin. It is still very early days, but I felt I had to share my first foreign result, “vignette mit photoshop” which is German (for those who do not know that particular language) and gives a direct link to www.photoshoptutorials.dk/page/2/de/ , where you will notice the /de/ at the end of the url, which is the German version of that page produced by Angsuman‚Äôs Translator Plugin

Obviously, I am excited to see the plugin already bear fruit, but it is still very early days, so lets see in a month or so how Google Analytics says my traffic is doing.
Coming up in a later post, is a test of Angsuman’s paid plugin vs. a freeware plugin I found. I am working on a more elaborate test/comparison, which I will publish when I have some more data to back it up.

* Jan 8th 2008  Update * I have also started getting Japanese results on the site. It is indeed still very early days, but so far so good.
